Love is Always the Answer
A very good friend of mine always reminds me, “Whatever the question, love is always the answer.” Whatever the need, love will fill that need. Whatever challenge you are presented with, love will always get you through. Whatever we perceive as lacking in any situation, love will always be supply.
We often talk about God’s love as being the healing force behind all things, but that substance of love needs someone to shape it, form it and direct it to the places it is most needed. Without you the love of God is missing the vehicle of extension.
We cannot allow ourselves to be disheartened and dragged down so far as we refuse to respond with love. We are well aware that all things are constantly in a state of fluctuation and change. The things of this world change, they break down and reform at higher levels of vibration. There is a wonderful quote I like to refer to when things seem particularly dire.
“Do not be dismayed by the brokenness of the world. All things break. And all things can be mended. Not with time, as they say, but with intention. So go. Love intentionally, extravagantly, unconditionally. The broken world waits in darkness for the light that is you.” L.R. Knost.
The bottom line here is that the world needs your light, your love and your intention. I think the world has enough haters, enough judgment and enough broken people acting out their pain upon others, not knowing they are actually attacking themselves.
When we make the decision for love, no matter what we are faced with in the world, we break the cycle of fear, which is the underlying cause of anger and violence. As 1 John 4 reminds us, “Perfect love casts out fear.” This scripture also states repeatedly that “God is love,” It goes on to say, “he that loves knows God and he who does not love does not know God for God is love… When we love one another God dwells in us and His love is perfected in us, for as He is so are we in this world.”
This is the most simple and straightforward way to understand our relationship to God. Love is what God is, period! It is not a being, but rather a state of being, and if we wish to dwell in that state of being then we have to love, unconditionally, extravagantly, with intention and direction and perseverance. However, we see an all-powerful creator loving us, that is how we are called to love. At that point, when love has been perfected within us, then we will be able to experience the fullness of the truth “As He is so are we in this world.” However, if God is love then so am I. I think it is time we all remember that. And remember as well, whatever the question the answer is always love, your love!
Be blessed my friends and be a blessing…
