Happy New Year

This new year feels different to me. Something is in the air, something wonderful is about to happen, and is happening now. I have heard it said that this is the foundation to living a really happy and fulfilled life, to always believe something wonderful is about to happen. Even if I cannot see it, it is there waiting for me, waiting for us. Some very exciting and important things have taken place in this past year, but within my heart I feel we are just getting started.

This past year I completed my Spiritual Education and Enrichment program with Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institute, and have embarked on the journey of a lifetime as the Spiritual Leader of UCC. Now I am enrolled in the Masters of Divinity program with UWSI Online Seminary, and we now have almost every night filled with uplifting programs and soul-enriching groups on the schedule. Our website is completely rebuilt and receives between twelve and sixteen hundred visits per month. Our youth program is flourishing and every Sunday is another day of celebration and awakening to the Christ in all of us. Our classes, workshops, concerts and movies are bringing a much needed message and experience of hope, comfort, caring, and transformation to so many across the region. Every day new possibilities await. Expanded awareness and higher vibrations of love can be felt growing within the community.

The membership is rising and so is our consciousness. We are grateful for a year of change and growth both individually and as a congregation. Our Spiritual Center is a vibrant community of inspired individuals working together to keep Unity alive and thriving on Cape Cod. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, you not only have a place here at Unity, we want you to feel engaged and empowered to join us in making this the most amazing Spiritual Center we could ever dream of. Each of you have dreams and desires, not just for 2017, but I imagine for the many years to come. There is a lot of work to do and fun to be had by all of us in helping make those dreams become a reality. Whatever way you feel you can contribute to our community; the giving of your talents, time and treasure is what we are so very grateful for. Your continued involvement, or your new interest in Unity is so welcomed and appreciated. We Love you, we bless you and we behold the Christ in you.
