It is with deep respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the transition into spirit of our long time beloved community member, Patricia McParland. Patricia passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, March 17, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, wisdom, and unwavering kindness that has touched us all.

She believed in the importance of supporting one another and worked tirelessly to foster a sense of unity and compassion. Her kindness knew no bounds; she was always ready with a warm smile and a listening ear. Patricia's presence in our community was a source of inspiration and strength. She will remain with us forever.

A celebration of her life will be held at Unity on Cape Cod on May 31st at 11:00 am.

His career has embodied an authentic troubadour odyssey that moved legendary folk DJ Gene Shay to call Flynn "the most quintessential folk singer in my life", and Deana McCloud, Executive Director of the Woody Guthrie Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma to write, "John Flynn is the real deal.

His work follows in the footsteps of Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Kris Kristofferson, and other social justice troubadours as he speaks the truth and gives a voice to society's disenfranchised. His work fills your heart and opens your eyes as he continues to walk the walk of a true advocate for equality, justice, and peace."
