• Robin Joyce Miller: Let us Speak Truth

    In honor of Black History Month Unity is blessed to host Robin Miller.

    Robin Joyce Miller is a retired award-winning NYC teacher, artist, author, poet, public speaker and activist. She taught special education for 15 years. After taking a yearlong study sabbatical, she returned as the art teacher for the next 14 years. During her years as a teacher of visual arts, Miller became a facilitator for NYC’s Blueprint for the Arts and earned the honors of both NYC and NY State Region 8 Art Educator of the Year Awards. She has conducted art workshops for teachers across the city in many venues including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and MOMA – the Museum of Modern Art. In 1992 Miller created a print ad for Pepsi honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. under the pseudonym, r.j. scribbles.

  • Remembering Alice Stark

    Alice Stark:

    It is with heavy hearts that we inform our community of the passing of our dear friend and long-time devoted member of Unity on Cape Cod, Alice Stark. Alice made her transition on Saturday, December 27, 2025. A celebration of life will be held at Unity on Cape Cod at a future date to be determined. To our dear Alice, may you rest in peace and power.

    A celebration of Alice’s life will be held here at Unity on Sunday, February 15th at 1:00 pm.

    This month’s selection is “Theo of Golden” by Allen Levi. The novel is a beautiful upbeat story about a mysterious stranger who shows up in a small southern town and engages in acts of kindness. The story focuses on the impact of anonymous generosity, the importance of being present and how small acts can transform a community.
    Please consider picking up the book now and coming to the meeting. Everyone is invited even if you have never been to a book club before.

    This week we will be walking the trail at the Indian Lands Conservation Area in So. Dennis.
