We continue our series on Aug 8 with Diana Jones, Since her 2006 breakthrough album, "My Remembrance of You", Diana Jones has been a major literary voice in contemporary song. “Songs come in a flurry of inspiration. I don’t understand it but I’m grateful.” But a journey of adoption and reunion as mysterious as her songwriting led to the gritty, authentic, Americana storytelling that has become her life’s work and her live show.

    Within her first two years on the scene Jones gained critical acclaim, international radio play being championed by major radio legends. She played sold out concert venues, toured with Richard Thompson and Mary Gauthier, opened for Peggy Seeger and Nick Lowe, appeared on BBC4 Folk America with Seasick Steve, played the Cambridge Folk Festival Main Stage and was a guest on the Jools Holland Show. Joan Baez recorded “Henry Russell’s Last Words” on Day After Tomorrow, the Grammy-nominated 2008 album produced by Steve Earle.

When Eddie became involved in the new thought ancient / wisdom movement in 2007. To this date Eddie has written, produced and recorded seven spiritual inspirational CDs. Eddie has served as a musical director for the, Center for Spiritual Living Las Vegas, Center for Spiritual Living Seattle, Unity Center For Creative Living Saint John Florida, Center for Spiritual Living in Saint Augustine Florida and Unity of Central Florida.

Packed with insightful reflections, in this easy-to-read little book, Lamott writes about simple prayers that are important for coming through tough times, difficult days, and the hardships of daily life.

    This small group 8-week program in self-compassion offers a supportive and interactive space for participants to deepen their understanding and practice of self-kindness, mindfulness, and emotional resilience. Guided by a trained facilitator, the group meets weekly for 2-hour sessions that include experiential exercises, guided meditations, reflective discussions, and practical tools drawn from evidence-based approaches. Limited to a small number of participants, the program fosters connection, safety, and personal growth, helping individuals build a more compassionate relationship with themselves and navigate life’s challenges with greater ease and authenticity.
