Joyful Gardening Fundraiser
Our Fund Raiser will be held after service downstairs in Friendship Hall.
Photo cards and bud vases will be available for purchase on a good will offering basis. All proceeds will go to the Joyful Gardening account to purchase plant and gardening materials for Unity on Cape Cod.
The Last Pig
Local award winning filmmaker Allison Argo’s latest film is about a pig farmer who has a soul-searching journey over a year’s time regarding his relationship to the pigs he raises for food.
Discussion to be led by Paul Hebert, Barnstable Town Councilor and longtime advocate for human and planetary health. Filmmaker Allison Argo is tentatively scheduled to be there to answer questions.

Stowe Dailey Singer-songwriter, best-selling author and recent cancer survivor. She co-wrote the hit song, Long Time Comin’ for the group, Shenandoah. Her album, Angel Chants, was the sound track of Angel Stories, featured on T.L.C. She has co-authored five books, including her latest book, Flying High.
Karen Taylor Good Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter-author with numerous radio hits by Patty Loveless, Al Jarreau, & Melissa Manchester, to name a few. She has recorded albums and movie soundtracks with Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson & Al Green.
Together, they are StoweGood!

Clean Up Day
Please join us Saturday April 28th at 9:00 AM to tidy up the grounds. Bring whatever garden tools you have. Water and healthy snacks would be a great help!!!
Sturdy trash bags will help emensely.
Redesigning and creating a new look for the grounds is a BIG project but we shall take our time and enjoy the process.

The ABC’s of being part of the Joyful Gardening Team
- A Arrive at Clean Up Day, April 28th at 9:00 AM with garden tools and trash bags.
Adopt a garden area to nuture and keep tidy.
- B Bring water and healthy snacks to Clean Up Day.
Buy a bud vase or a bunch of cards at the Joyful Gardening Fundraiser April 15th after service.
Buy a grass or other perennial for a garden area.
Bring a plant from your garden to add to Unit’s gardens.
- C Collect shells, stones, and other beach items to help complete our gardens’ CAPE style designs.
