“A Brief Mystery of God”
Guest speaker Greg Tamblyn weaves together a sacred lesson experience with funny, award-wining songs, stories, a meditation, and powerful group meditation music. THE SACRED AND THE SILLY
Mystics, prophets, saints and psychologists have all told us that happiness lies in the NOW. Many of us in the West have forgotten where that is. Silliness and humor are profound ways to get there.
A BRIEF MYSTERY OF GOD
The healthiest and most helpful attitude to life’s unanswerable questions and big mysteries is what the best mystics and scientists have in common: a sense of wonder and a sense of humor.
Many of us have a GPS in our phone to help us get where we’re going.
Wouldn’t it be cool to have the same thing for our lives?
Wouldn’t it be even cooler if it told us where we need to go?
Good news: we’ve already got one. It’s standard equipment.
SOULMATES OR CELLMATES?
Even the best relationships usually involve several pit-stops at the AFGO Station. (Another Friendly Growth Opportunity.) Getting our needs met requires knowing what those needs are (now there’s a shock!) and my favorite helpful tools.
WHAT’S YOUR STORY?
Stories are the most powerful communication tool we have. The story of Jesus, for example, contains elements that make it both inspirational and lasting. A new story – Boy In A Bag – will stay with you long after you hear it, and inspire you to hear the
better angels of your nature.
Giving Thanks for Everything
It has been said, “If the only prayer you ever said was thank you, that would be enough.” Miester Eckhart.
In this season of Thanksgiving we are reminded of the power of gratitude.
Being grateful each and every moment is a far more joyous experience than waiting on outside circumstances to bring me something to be grateful for. In the never-changing presence of Divine Love there is born blessing after blessing, a constant flow of good coming to me and through me as I give thanks for absolutely everything.
Celebrating the Light that is You
First week of advent
The light in you is what the universe longs to behold. The light in you is your strength, your power and your life. The light in you is what heals the world. The light in you reminds me of the light in me. Whatever you thought you were waiting for is right here, right now, contained in the light that is you! This Sunday we are going to learn the joy of shining our light.

Your Present is your Presence: Listening as an act of love
The best gift we can offer one another this holiday season is our still and holy presence. Deeply listening and truly being there for our family and friends, one conversation at a time, is the one thing most called for in these divisive and confusing times. Listening to one another, offering space for both our joys and our sorrows, is one of the sweetest and most direct ways to embody the Presence of God with one another. Join friend and favorite of Unity Cape Cod, the Rev. Adam Sutton, for an inspirational morning of song and service, sure to raise your vibration for Advent and beyond!

“What is the Christ?”
Christmas is a great time to celebrate the birth of the Christ in Jesus; but what is the Christ? This is a wonderful opportunity to explore our ideas and experiences of what the Christ means to us. More importantly perhaps, how can we individually and collectively demonstrate the Christ in us, through us and as us this holiday season?
