We have often heard, and we have repeated this very true statement of God at various times in our lives. What that mean to those involved in Spiritual Science? According to Myrtle Fillmore, it is this: “Though personal to each one of us, God is IT, neither male nor female, but Principle. God is not a cold, senseless principle like that of Mathematics, but the Principle of life, love and intelligence.” This week we will explore how that Principle of Love is showing up for us, for “God’s love is perfected in us.” (1 John 4:12)

Greater is the One Who is Within you than the One Who is in the World.
As Human beings we apparently live in two worlds, Earth and Heaven. Most people believe this occurs in succession; but actually it is happening simultaneously. Thus we view ourselves as both Spirit and limited form. Most of the time, human beings think of themselves only from the perspective of limited form and separate consciousness. However, the greater of the two is Spirit, eternal, loving and free. If we are to experience this, there must be an admission on our part that the spiritual being within us is greater than human being who’s thoughts are focused primarily in the material world. When we offer our personal self in service to our God-Self, then the power within us begins to be manifest in our world.
When Jesus asked us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread,” it was with the knowledge that we do not live by bread alone; but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Of course, the food of which we are speaking is spiritual food. When we affirm the Truth, we not only feed our souls, but also heal our bodies. Our daily bread therefore is the substance of Truth, the continuing contact with our higher consciousness. Come and join us in that place where we are spiritually fed.
All to often, we allow our thoughts and words and action to represent our fears and doubts. We also keep the depth of our concerns hidden from ourselves. We have also learned that those hidden fears can accumulate, turn into more stress, and show up later as disease and conflict in our lives. The solution therefore can be found in training of the mind to focus on the good, counting your blessings and moving in a positive direction. We are far too blessed to be stressed.
“Whatever things of of good report, think on these things…”
This week’s message comes from Paul’s letter to the Philippians 2:5
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of
God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God…”
In Unity, we teach the innate divinity of all human beings. This philosophy has
sound biblical support. When we look at what we are asked to do in this scripture,
we can clearly see it is calling us to “let” the same manner of thinking Jesus was
using to be our way of thinking as well. If we go to the core idea of this thought
system: “Equality with God,” we will discover it is not a special dispensation, but a
