I Release What No Longer Serves My Highest Good

This Sunday we release what no longer serves us from the past and embrace the promise of the New Year.

This is the time of year when many of us make a decision to let go of what no longer serves us and open up to greater possibilities for good in our lives.

Being in the present moment is the prescription of most spiritual teachers as the way to accomplish this. We invite you to Join us in this New Year as we let go of the past and let Spirit show us what is available in the here and now.

One Day at a time we walk mindfully through life, present moment after present moment; in this way, we carry the fulfillment of our hearts into the future.

“Moving from Grievance to Gratitude”

Our focus for the New Year is letting go of the past and opening ourselves to infinite possibilities. Last week we spoke of two powerful tools to accomplish this; one being forgiveness, and the second being gratitude. Gratitude is one of our super powers in achieving a life of purpose and peace. When we make a decision to abandon our grievances, we discover the power of gratitude.

A Mission of Radical Inclusion

As spiritual seekers and students of Truth, we have a great opportunity before us. We have a great challenge to face, and a mission to fulfill on this earth. The opportunity is to manifest the life we want and desire, for ourselves and for those around us. The challenge is to open our hearts to include all living beings, and our mission is to welcome our differences as a vital part of our growth as a spiritual community, instead of letting it be something that separates us from one another. Some folks have characterized Unity as a movement of radical inclusion. This week we will explore what that really means for us.

God is Love

We have often heard, and we have repeated this very true statement of God at various times in our lives. What that mean to those involved in Spiritual Science? According to Myrtle Fillmore, it is this: “Though personal to each one of us, God is IT, neither male nor female, but Principle. God is not a cold, senseless principle like that of Mathematics, but the Principle of life, love and intelligence.” This week we will explore how that Principle of Love is showing up for us, for “God’s love is perfected in us.” (1 John 4:12)
