“A Brief Mystery of God”

Guest speaker Greg Tamblyn weaves together a sacred lesson experience with funny, award-wining songs, stories, a meditation, and powerful group meditation music. Congregants get filled up with a healthy dose of music and laughter, plus a profound experience of the Sacred. Join us for love and laughter.

THE SACRED AND THE SILLY
Mystics, prophets, saints and psychologists have all told us that happiness lies in the NOW. Many of us in the West have forgotten where that is. Silliness and humor are profound ways to get there.

A BRIEF MYSTERY OF GOD
The healthiest and most helpful attitude to life’s unanswerable questions and big mysteries is what the best mystics and scientists have in common: a sense of wonder and a sense of humor.

GPS 1.0
Many of us have a GPS in our phone to help us get where we’re going.
Wouldn’t it be cool to have the same thing for our lives?
Wouldn’t it be even cooler if it told us where we need to go?
Good news: we’ve already got one. It’s standard equipment.

SOULMATES OR CELLMATES?
Even the best relationships usually involve several pit-stops at the AFGO Station. (Another Friendly Growth Opportunity.) Getting our needs met requires knowing what those needs are (now there’s a shock!) and my favorite helpful tools.

WHAT’S YOUR STORY?
Stories are the most powerful communication tool we have. The story of Jesus, for example, contains elements that make it both inspirational and lasting. A new story – Boy In A Bag – will stay with you long after you hear it, and inspire you to hear the
better angels of your nature.

Laughterjam Humor Workshop

Join us after service for this joyful and inspiring workshop.

Three Easy Ways to Inject More Fun, Humor, and Laughter Into Every Day!

Humorist/songwriter Greg Tamblyn shares his top techniques for enjoying more fun and laughter on a daily basis without alienating co-workers, friends, family or your dentist. You’ll explore and expand the humorous corners of your own personal brain, raise your
humor antenna (and learn how to keep it extended even during stressful times), and master Greg’s favorite simple way to have more fun with friends and strangers all day long. You’ll even get to make an entire roomful of folks laugh by telling at least one great joke. (We promise!) It’s three solid hours of fun and foolishness that you can take back to ‘real life’ and put to good use.

Even if you don’t feel ‘qualified’ to make yourself and others laugh, we guarantee this workshop is for you! With these techniques, anyone can learn to laugh more and be funnier. Also to handle the perils of work, retirement, school, and social occasions (think:
Thanksgiving with your in-laws) with greater buoyancy, poise and aplomb.

Please bring pen and paper for note taking. We’ll be turning off our devices.

Spiritual Discovery Book Club: Finding Healing at the end of Arrogance
Nov 19 @ 6:30 pm

Unity on Cape Cod is thrilled to offer the Spiritual Discovery Book Club.

The first book of the year is Finding Healing at the end of arrogance by Liliana Bejarano.

Inspired by the teachings of A Course in Miracles. This book is a collection of reflections and short stories, based on real testimonies, which demonstrate that a change of mind can bring about a new perception of who we think we are. It is a call to remember our true essence which is love and abundance. It is aimed at all those who are willing to give up suffering, and allow the healing power of forgiveness be a constant in their lives.

Liliana Bejarano, originally from Bogota, Colombia, traveled to the U.S. In 2010 following her spiritual calling.
Liliana is a dedicated spiritual teacher, educator, mindfulness instructor and student of A Course in Miracles. She has facilitated ACIM workshops in several countries in South America and in the U.S. along with her
husband, Rev. Tony Cryer.

Wednesdays

Love…

HI everyone. May we join together in this challenging time and mindfully remembering who we really are as we are called to hold the vibration of peace, love and light.
NOTE: In light of the current events, we will be suspending our weekly Circle of Light gathering at Unity for an indefinite period. In the meantime, we encourage all of you to stay centered, use the tools that you have learned along your journey and remember the truth of who you are. The world needs our Light more than ever now, so it is imperative that we stay connected to our own inner divine light and shine that light into the world, no matter what appears before us.

We are happy to announce, however, that we will still be able to connect with all of you in another way. We have set up a call in conference line that will allow us all to connect via phone at 7pm every Wed. Below is the simple information you will need to log in an access the call. Please write this info down and save it for future reference.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
We will begin promptly at 7pm and suggest that you call in 5-10 minutes before. Our intention is to collectively create sacred space so please, give this time your undivided attention by creating a quiet peaceful dedicated space where you are away from the TV, pets or any other distractions. PLEASE, honor the Circle of Light participants by NOT multitasking while on the call.

Access the conference line by the dialing 425-436-6317, you will then be asked for an access code which is 522013#. This will bring you onto the call where we ask that you say hello and simply state your name. After that, please MUTE your phone either by pressing the mute button *6. This will minimize the sounds and static on the line. If you wish to speak, hit *6 again to unmute yourself. NOTE: We are unable to play music during the call, however you can play your own music in the back ground as long as you are on mute.

Lastly, we encourage all of you to stay centered during these challenging times. Use the tools that you have learned along your journey and remember the truth of who you are. The world needs our light more than ever now, so stay mindfully connected to your own inner light and shine that light into everything before you.
We’ll look forward to connecting with all of you beautiful spirits in whatever ways we can… Please know that we are here for anyone who needs us, so please don’t hesitate to reach out. Additionally, please feel invited to share this email with others who may want to join us on the calls.
Blessings of Love and Light,
Scott & Faith

The purpose of our “Spiritual Growth Group,” will be to facilitate each participants own and therefore experience with the Divine through prayer and meditation, spiritual exercises and discussion.
Together we will be co-creating a unique and powerful environment where we can each connect on a heart and soul level with Christ consciousness, and all that exists in that divine energy that is the essence of our “true” nature. Read more…

Giving Thanks for Everything

It has been said, “If the only prayer you ever said was thank you, that would be enough.” Miester Eckhart.
In this season of Thanksgiving we are reminded of the power of gratitude.
Being grateful each and every moment is a far more joyous experience than waiting on outside circumstances to bring me something to be grateful for. In the never-changing presence of Divine Love there is born blessing after blessing, a constant flow of good coming to me and through me as I give thanks for absolutely everything.
